My Forest School
My name is Georgina and I am the founder of Country Kids Childcare...Naturally Fun! I have over 20 years professional experience in the early childhood sector, but it was 16 years ago that I found my true passion when I began working as a family day care educator. My success is fueled by my passion, based on fulfilment, opportunities and experiences my business offers. My qualifications are, Advanced Diploma is Children's services, Cert IV in Teacher Aide Studies, Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and Cert III in Forest School Leadership. I also completed the AICD Company Director Course to build my skills and knowledge as I sat as a Board Director with Family Daycare Australia for nearly five years. Besides providing care to children in the community I also run a Girl Power...Naturally Nature Playgroup recommencing in 2025. Girl Power...Naturally Workshops and Fun Days are also held and designed to empower the young women of our future, I am a qualified Girl Power instructor and will be offering workshop Fun Days in the school holidays and a Girl Power Club after school during each term.
Our Vision
Country Kids Childcare is an award-winning Family Daycare service that has been operating in the Cassowary Coast Region for the past thirteen years. Our vision is to make Qualified Forest School Learning in Early Childhood Education available to families in the community. I hope to inspire families and educators to follow Nature Play QLD and to get outside and enjoy their own backyards and the region’s natural spaces on offer. Country Kids Childcare prides itself on … inspiring and educating children in making a difference. If the next generation can learn to appreciate the beauty and purpose of nature, children will become agents of change in their own environment.
Our programs
School aged
5-12 years of age.
Country Kids Childcare offers a vacation care program designed specifically with school aged children's interest in mind. School aged children need to have plenty of room to move and explore and our program offers them the opportunity to be outside during the holidays away from technology.
